Finally Learning what we came here to do!

So today we finally began our position training.  This is where the team splits and spends time with staff from other teams learning how to effectively do their job.  The last several days have been focused on team building.  On Sunday we competed against other teams in the Amazing Race!  We ended up about half an hour away in Helen, Georgia.  Monday was composed of packing our six palettes for our six projects.  Which took us about six hours...yes six.  We then loaded and hooked up the trailer and I drove it back to our home (for the week).  Yesterday we had driving school!!  Unfortunately I am not the best backer of the expedition and trailer so our two boys, Aaron and Scott will take on the role.  However, I will be hitting the road with our trailer and 2010 Expedition :)  Driving school was a bit eventful...we got lost with our National Staff and then we experienced first hand how to deal with possible law enforcement interaction ;)

As office manager we spent today playing some games, eating candy, and going over the basics.  (We are so awesome little training is required ;) Tomorrow things will begin picking up for us.

THE TEAM- is solid!  We have had some good devotions and I think we all agreed that it was undeniable God has something special in store for all of us.  Aaron helped lead worship last night for our worship service and did an awesome job.  He is definitely very talented, but using his talents for God's glory.  Macie has been a busy bee getting our staff video squared away.  We spent most of
Tuesday filming our parts...and all I'll say is there is quite a bit of running involved.  I am excited to see the finish product it's gonna hilarious!  Scott has been keeping us entertained with his comedic acting skills which will be debuted in the video.

More updates to come! Keep an eye out!
