We are almost done with our final project and I just realized I haven't updated my blog. We arrived in Daytona Beach last week and enjoyed a couple of days out on the beach. Which was very nice since we had two projects back to back. Now we are almost done with our last project of the summer and I will be home in four days. Hard to believe!
This project has gone by smoothly and we have great group of students. Since it is our last project we get to spend more time hanging out because we know our job so well. It takes us less time now to do the same things that we did at the beginning of the summer.
It is bittersweet because I love World Changers and spending the summer with an awesome team, and in different places, but there is definitely a part of me that is ready to be home. Probably the part that wants to sleep in my own bed, take a shower in my bathroom, and eat my momma's home cookin'. Almost done...

Welcome to the sunshine!
We finally arrived in Daytona Beach! I am sooo looking forward to hitting the beach tomorrow with my team the besties! Kelly and Chasity have come down to join in on the fun for a couple of days. Continue to be in prayer for the team as we prepare for our last project. We are pretty drained, but all excited to see what God has in store for our students and the city of Daytona Beach.

Henderson and Evansville
I actually started this post last week and the internet disconnected and I lost everything I typed. We finished Henderson, KY last Saturday and began our third project, Evansville, IN on Saturday as well.
Henderson was a wonderful project with an extremely mature group of students. They were so bold in their evangelism, with over 250 presentations of the gospel, 350+ tracts handed out and 6 salvation decisions in the community. It seemed that a majority of these students were Christians with a foundation that we were able to build upon throughout the week.
Now...we are in Evansville, IN our third project. Things have been a bit more challenging here. We are at a new school for World Changers which is HUGE. Literally, if you aren't careful you will get lost or locked out. It takes about twenty minutes for us to lock down the school everynight and that is with about eight people. Also it has been an adjustment for us as a staff because these students are not as spiritually mature as last week's. They are lacking that spiritual foundation which is affecting the evangelism to the surrounding community.
So continue to be in prayer for us as a team. We will begin traveling to Daytona on Saturday stopping in Nashville and South Atlanta. Though the exhaustion is setting in we will have a few days to relax at the beach before starting our final project, Daytona Beach. It is hard to believe the summer is coming to end. It brings on mixed emotions, ready to be home, sleep in my own bed, my own shower, etc. But dreading that feeling that comes a couple of weeks after World Changers when you wished the summer started all over again.
