Goodbye Owensboro

Today we left Owensboro, KY after finishing our first project of the summer. All of the students were out of the school by 7:30. It was an AWESOME week! Despite the weather issues I really couldn't have asked for a better first project. Troy Doster was the speaker for the week and he really challenge the youth and adults. I know there were about 7 professions of faith and countless other decisions. And one those salvations was from a youth from my home church!

I found myself a little saddened last night during the last crew chat. These youth and students get to know each other so well in such a short amount of time and then they have to depart knowing they will probably never see each other again. So I have decided there should be a World Changers reunion. For everyone that ever participated in World Changers. Wouldn't that be crazy? Meeting up with someone you became best friends with in a week, but never saw again. It is just a thought.

Now, it is time for us to work at the Southern Baptist Convention in Louisville, KY. We head there tomorrow (we are in Elizabeth Town right now.) We still aren't sure what to expect at the SBC, but it will be fun- I hope?
